No. The Academy says beginners are welcome: if you can follow instructions and run a few terminal commands, you can build it. Developers can go further and extend the code.

Lessons and code are made and tested for Windows. macOS and Linux support isn't guaranteed yet, so plan on a Windows PC for the smoothest experience.
